What we’re looking for in our team
We love to connect with others who share a love for this line of work whether it is related to sourdough, milling, baking of any kind, bread, pastry, sales, delivery driving, or generally being in a commercial kitchen.
Our company is readily evolving and so are our staffing needs. Between expanding our milling operation and opening up more wholesale routes, we are glad to get to know folks interested in being a part of our team to help realize our vision and goals.

Join Our Sales & Packaging Team
We’re looking for one person to join our team on a part time, year round basis helping us with our fun community spirited sales events and working with our strong bread packaging team to help prepare and manage many a bread order going out to wholesale accounts. This position includes both year round and seasonal shifts:
Year round starting immediately Friday Community Bakery Day & Bread Packaging & Sales 4am - 12:30pm
Seasonal starting Farmers Market Season 2025 May-October Sunday Crested Butte Farmers Market Sales 4:30am - 4pm and Monday Bread Packaging 4am - 10am
Potential for more shifts/cross training may be available depending on skills and availability
Starting at $15-17/hour plus tips $1.50-$3.50/hourly.
Overall, this position is great for someone who
enjoys staying busy, early mornings, and collaborating on a team
is highly detail oriented and precise
is reliable and able to show up on time for early shifts
has strong communication and interpersonal skills
keeps a steady and sometimes fast paced work flow
has physical stamina; we are on foot and moving around a fair amount of weight throughout shifts
is comfortable with use of basic technology such as Square Point of Sale & learning to print on various computer softwares
has competency with basic math; confident in one’s ability to be exact with numbers e.g. adding up totals during sales events as well as reading packing sheets and packing orders with precision
previous sales or customer service experience preferred
Join Our Team as a Delivery Driver
We’re looking for one person to join our team as a delivery driver. This person will be trained on both of our routes 1) Gunnison Valley and 2) NFV-Grand Valley-Montrose Area. As a Mountain Oven driver, you will be responsible for managing and delivering wholesale orders throughout the region while providing excellent customer service to our accounts.
Year round starting immediately Mondays & Fridays 6:30 am van packout from bakery - varying finish time mid to late afternoon
PT, approx. 18+ hours/week; more with cross training into other departments, $17-20/hourly including tips.
A good fit for this position is:
confident driving a cargo van in all weather conditions
very reliable, timely, and on top of things
able to represent our company in a professional manner
detail oriented & attentative in managing orders, products, and accounts
demonstrates strong communication skills
Requirements:
Valid drivers license & clean driving record in order to operate company vehicle
Cross training in packaging to cover occasional packaging shifts (4am start). *While this shift will not be regularly required, ability to provide coverage is necessary and training is required
Ability to lift 50lbs; lifting large bread flats, bags of flour and getting in and out of the van
Previous driving experience is preferred
Customer service experience is helpful
